A digital thankyou for a real life bookshelf
Thankyou to the mothers’ group Roo & I attend! Roo is enjoying the new bookshelf you gave him.
I first saw the bookshelf on How We Montessori and was very pleased to discover that the mothers’ group could get it for him for his first birthday. Roo started out life very interested in books, but as soon as he could move around, he’d rather be crawling, thankyouverymuch. These days he is quite interested in opening and shutting books and not so interested in reading them. Since this bookshelf has been in his room, he has fetched books for himself occasionally, and I have high hopes that his interest will grow. He also loves ‘posting’ things into the slings and then fetching them back out (or not).
He is also wearing a whole new-to-him outfit thanks to some other generous friends!
